Thanks for stopping by! I’m Gintare, although everyone here calls me Gin. I’m originally from Lithuania and moved to Sydney in 2015.

A little story about how I got here: I met my husband at a friend’s wedding in Lithuania. He was living in Sydney at the time and was back home for the holidays. We only had two dates before he had to fly back to Australia, but somehow I just couldn’t stop thinking that I had met the right person. Four months later, I moved to Sydney and, thankfully, everything worked out! We got married two years later and now have two lovely and very loud boys — just the right mix of chaos and love, I’d say.

My photography journey began here in Australia, and for the past seven years, photography has become such an important part of my life. What started as an interest gradually grew into something I truly love — and eventually into my own photography business.

Building a business while raising little kids wasn’t always easy, but with a lot of hard work and support from my husband, Mankus Photography became what it is today.

I love capturing genuine moments, natural connections and all the little details that make your story uniquely yours. My photography style is relaxed, natural and focused on real moments — the laughter, the emotions, the in-between moments and everything that makes a photograph feel like a memory.

I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love and to meet so many wonderful people along the way. I’d love to hear your story too and capture a little piece of it for you to look back on for years to come.
